The Bent Built Story

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand in the 60s I was lucky enough to spend my formative years on a small family farm in Canterbury. In the mid-80s we sold the farm and became townies. In 1991 Dad and I went into business together building quality houses, as well as fences, decks and all the other jobs I still do today.

I headed off to Australia in my late 20s returning home a number of years later to make a home in Nelson. Mum and Dad have since realised Nelson is the best spot and have also made it home.

I formed Bent Built Limited in early this century and I continue to offer the same integrity and values taught by my father.

I have four children, one girl and three boys – not that they are still children!
